My Blog Week: Dec 3 to Dec 9All the Latest from Torsade!

As usual, the week began with its installment of A Figure from the Common Lot. In Imprisoned, part three, Honoré has a sad remembrance, and a visit with Broughton to a safe house. Two self-contained poems (not part of any ongoing series) went up Monday and Tuesday, “Cry” and “Narrowing the Path”: the one, a mini-thriller; the other, a commentary. A third episode of “Bad Counsel” has Andrée recalling her meeting with Leo on the day she discovered he had a brother. A non-fiction piece, the start of a new series, went up Thursday: “The Yellow Press: part one”, a biography of the Sugar King, whose heyday was the end of the nineteenth century, and who played a political role in the Spanish-American war, as well as the press wars.
“Are You Haunted” turned up in its usual Friday slot, with part four, where the ghost story of Lettie Drybrook is related by Summers to Powell. Finally, on Saturday, came the conclusion to the present sequence of Haunt of Thieves, in which Gafeidda accepts his fate.
Photos on my posts usually have a link to related information, sometimes serious, sometimes whimsical, sometimes in answer to a direct reference. Since people can be leery about clicking links, I include them here: what they are, what sites they point to.
