My Blog Week: Sept 3 to Sept 9
All the Latest from Torsade
This week began with the poem “Rapunzel”, a fairytale character who has her own point of view. The poetry series Haunt of Thieves’ second sequence continued with War-Making, as Gafeidda arrives at the city walls and meets an incarnation, who may be the Shepherd. “Fallen Short”, is a flash fiction piece about a woman returning home. “Awful Rivalry” is the eleventh entry in the Tattersby arc of the Folly Series, in which Roscoe frames his anger and his deed. The novella “Are You Alienated” continued with its second segment, wherein John Emmett arrives at the Castelberrys’ hotel room, and begins unspooling his mystery. Finally, “The Wayfarer”—which is actually first in the second H of T sequence, but was out for submission, and is now properly linked in place.
Photos on my posts usually have a link to related information, sometimes serious, sometimes whimsical, sometimes in answer to a direct reference. Since people can be leery about clicking links, I include them here: what they are, what sites they point to.
